Introduction

Boloxa Smart Tag is compatible with both Google's Find Hub and the Apple Find My. Users can select their preferred network during initial pairing. Once paired with an Android™ device, Boloxa Smart Tag operates as Find Hub locator tag until it is reset to factory settings. Similarly, when paired with an iOS device, it functions as an Apple Find My locator tag until a factory reset is performed.

Before you start

1:Before you begin, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your Android or iOS device, and that the device has internet access via Wi-Fi or cellular service.

2:Locate the button on the side of the Boloxa Smart Tag.

How to pair with an Android device

1 : Search for "Find Hub" in the Google Play Store, download and install it.

2 : Ensure that your phone has location services enabled, Bluetooth turned on, is connected to the internet, logged into a Google account, and has the "Find Hub" feature activated.

3 : Open "Find Hub' app.

4 : Place your Boloxa Smart Tag near your Android device.

5 : Press and hold the button for 2 seconds, and you will hear a beep indicating successful power-on.

6 : Wait for a half-screen notification to appear, then follow the on-screen instructions on your Android device to add the Boloxa Smart Tag to Google's Find Hub network.

How to pair with an iOS device

1 : Place your Boloxa Smart Tag next to your iOS device and press the button until you hear the tone.

2 : Open the Find My app on your iOS device, tap the Items tab, and select Add Other Item.

3 : Once the Find My app detects Boloxa Smart Tag, follow the on-screen instructions to add it to the Apple Find My network.

How to Locate your Boloxa Smart Tag

1 : After adding your Boloxa Smart Tag to Google's Find Hub network, you can use the Google Find My Device app on your Android device to locate it.

2:After adding your Boloxa Smart Tag to the Apple Find My network, you can use the Find My app on your iOS device to locate it.

How to reset to factory settings

1 : Locate the button on the side of the Boloxa Smart Tag.

2 : Press and hold the button. You will hear the sounds in sequence: 1 beep, 2 consecutive beeps, 3 consecutive beeps. Continue holding the button and release it when you hear a long beep. The device will then be restored to factory settings.

After resetting, you can pair the Boloxa Smart Tagwith a different Google or Apple account. However, if you want to pair it with a new Appleor Android account, you must first remove it from its previous Apple or Android account on your iOS or Android device.

How to Disable the Boloxa Smart Tag

1 : Locate the button on the side of the Boloxa Smart Tag.

2 : Press and hold the button for seven seconds. One beep will sound, then two beeps, and then three beeps.

How to Re-enable the Boloxa Smart Tag

1 : Locate the button on the side of the Boloxa Smart Tag.

2 : Press the button until you hear the tone.

How to perform serial number lookup (For Apple devices)

1 : Locate the button on the side of the Boloxa Smart Tag.

2 : Press and hold the button for five seconds. One beep will sound, followed by two beeps.

How to Remove and re-pair the Boloxa Smart Tag

Users can remove the Boloxa Smart Tag from the Google Find Hub app on Android or the Find My app on iOS. If the Boloxa Smart Tag is within Bluetooth range of the Android/iOS device, it will automatically reset to factory settings upon receiving the command from the device.

If the Boloxa Smart Tag is out of Bluetooth range, you must perform a factory reset on the device either before or after removing it from the app (see “Factory reset” instructions). To re-pair with an Android or iOS device, follow the instructions in “How to pair with an Android device” or “How to pair with an iOS device”.
